Three hours with a shape to them. A short lesson to open, then group co-working where you build your own thing with help on hand, and show and tell at the end. Bring a laptop and the thing you want to make. Most people go home with something that runs, including the ones who turned up planning to just watch.

The Eastside, in person · Starts 6pm
Starts at 6pm and nothing after that is scheduled. Turn up, get a seat, show somebody what you have been working on and see what everyone else is making. Show and tell, networking, learning from other people, and the community connections that come out of all three. Bring a question and nothing else if that is all you have, because plenty of people turn up with nothing more than that.

Most people who want to build software never start. They assume it means hiring a developer, or grinding through a course, or waiting for some mythical free weekend that keeps not arriving. AI moved that line. You describe what you want in plain English, you watch it take shape, and you steer it from there. The skill is called vibe coding, and most people have the hang of it by the end of one afternoon.
Doing it alone is the hard part. You hit a wall at 11pm, you have no idea what to ask, and you cannot tell whether the thing that stopped you is hard or just badly explained somewhere.
So we built a room for it. Curious beginners, makers, tinkerers, founders, people who work in tech but never write code, students, artists. Nobody sits and watches. Everybody builds something, the people further along help the people who started last week, and you leave with a thing that runs on your own machine.
Community founder Chris Pirillo has vibe coded 400+ free apps this way in the past year, and he does not write the code either. Go play with them. That is the whole pitch.

The Curious Beginner
You keep hearing that people are building software by describing it, and you want to see whether that is real. Start here. There is no textbook and no bootcamp, and you will have built something before you leave your first session.
The Creative
Artists, musicians, writers, designers who want to make things other people can click on. Generative art, strange little toys, tools that fix your own workflow. Vibe coding turns a creative idea into software you can hand to anybody with a browser.
The Tinkerer
You already take things apart. Home automation, spreadsheets held together with tape, a Raspberry Pi in a drawer waiting for a purpose. This is that same instinct pointed at software, and it moves a lot faster than it did two years ago.
The Non-Coder in Tech
You work in tech and you do not write code. Product managers, designers, marketers, analysts. You already know what needs to exist, and now you can build a working version of it yourself on the same afternoon you thought of it.

Yes, and you are exactly who this community was built for. We pair newer builders with people who already know the tools, so you bring the idea and the room helps you make it real. Many of our most active members turned up with no coding background at all and now build things every week.
Is everything free? ↓
Every event and every stream is free, and so is the Discord. It stays that way because sponsors like every.io cover the costs. Donations are welcome if you want to chip in, and nobody is going to ask you for one at the door.
What do I need to get started? ↓
A laptop and some curiosity. For Builder Day, bring your machine and an idea, or let the random word wheel hand you one. For Builder Night on the Eastside, doors are at 6pm and you can bring whatever you have been working on, even if it is broken. For streams, turn up and watch. For Discord, join and say hello.

That is one of the best uses of a Builder Day. Bring a real problem or product idea and use the three hours to build a working version of it. You will get feedback from the community and go home with something you can put in front of real users.
Can I make money with vibe coding? ↓
People here do, and it is one of the more common reasons they turn up. Freelance builds for clients, internal tools nobody sells, prototypes that close a deal, small products you put out yourself. Both are free and both are open to anyone. Builder Day is the structured one, where you make something.
